The Executive Director of the North American Integration and Development Center is Leo F. Estrada, an Associate Professor of Urban Planning, and is a social demographer with a particular interest in the Latino population of the Southwestern U.S. Dr. Estrada is responsible for the management of the NAID Center.

The Principal Investigator and Research Director of the NAID Center is Raul Hinojosa-Ojeda, an Assistant Professor of Urban Planning, who provides guidance to all research components and acts as the liaison with government and international agencies. An internationally recognized expert on North American Integration, Dr. Hinojosa is the intellectual author of the NADBank concept and is a consulting scholar with the Inter-American Development Bank.

To carry out the tasks of the NAID Center, a diverse group of economists, planners, computer scientists, and community organizers have been recruited. David Runsten is an economist specializing in agricultural development and migration. Goetz Wolff is a planning consultant and an expert on manufacturing sectoral analysis, economic development, and labor market policies. Carol Zabin is an economist who has worked on the Mexican forestry sector, border community development, and migration.

Access to the expertise of UCLA's faculty and graduate students, especially the Department of Urban Planning and the newly created School of Public Policy and Social Research, serves as an asset that strengthens and enriches the NAID Center's resources and capabilities.
